Agilent 1290 UHPLC With Agilent 6495C Triple Quadrupole

The 6495C is a triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometer primarily designed for quantitative LC-MS/MS via MRM mode.  The 6495C is connected to an Agilent 1290 Infinity II UHPLC for sample introduction.
The 6495C was generously donated to MSF by Agilent Technologies through Indiana University’s participation in the academic/industrial Center for Biolanalytical Metrology.


Infinity II UHPLC Specifications:

  • Max flow rate of up to 5 mL/min
  • Max pressure of 1300 bar
  • High capacity autosampler using plates or vials
  • Injects 0.1 uL to 20 uL

 

Agilent 6495C QQQ Specifications:

  • Mass range: 10-2800 m/z (both Q1 and Q3)
  • Mass accuracy: ±0.15 Da
  • Unit resolution
  • Agilent JetSpray Electrospray Ion Source
  • Rapid Polarity Switching
  • Capable of MS1, Product Ion Scanning, Precursor Ion Scanning, MRM Scanning, Full MS2 spectra generation
  • Sub ms dwell times possible in MRM mode.
